Vintage Art Deco Style Sterling Silver & Marcasite Wave Brooch:
This amazing vintage brooch features classic art deco styling! Crafted in sterling silver and set with sparkling marcasites, the textured and ribbed silver setting flows around a black glass disk like waves breaking upon the shore. The brooch measures 2 by 1 3/4" and is marked 925 with a blurred makers mark.

Vintage Van Dell Sterling Pink Rhinestone Rose and Yellow Gold Filled Brooch:
This stunning retro brooch from Van Dell is crafted in sterling silver and features a warm,rose gold plated flower set with a sparkling powder pink rhinestone, accented with scrolls and leaves in yellow gold plate. The brooch is a nice size, measuring 3 5/8 by 1 1/2". The front is in excellent condition, and the back shows plating wear to the vermeil from age and use. The roll over clasp hold quite securely. The brooch is signed Van Dell sterling, 1/20th 12k gold fill.

Vintage Signed JJ Cat with Lucite Fish Bowl Brooch:
This enchanting, whimsical brooch from JJ (Jonette Co.) featured a determine cat trying to figure out a way to get to the goldfish. He has his head stuck in the bowl, and a most perplexed expression on his face. The fishbowl is made from a domed piece of clear lucite. Although I see this brooch referred to as a jelly belly, technically it is not, as the lucite piece is not part of the body of the cat. The brooch is crafted entirely of textured gold plated metal and is adorably lifelike. In excellent condition, it measures 1 3/4 by 1 7/8" and is signed JJ(c).

Vintage Sterling Silver Enamel Heraldic Crown Sword Lion Rampant Brooch:
This vintage sterling silver heraldic brooch is crafted in sterling silver. The blue enamel shield features the royal lion of Scotland, the lion rampant. The shield is topped with an ornate crown, which is flanked with a scepter with orb on one side and a sword on the other. The shield is wrapped in laurel leaves, and there is a small silver bell which drops from the brooch. The brooch is artfully crafted from multiple pieces, the blue enamel is in excellent condition. I am not sure the bell is original, I feel is was added at some point, and it can be easily removed if you choose. The brooch weighs an impressive 23.29 grams of sterling silver. It measures 2 1/2 by 2" and is signed sterling. The brooch was also acid tested as sterling.

Rare Philadelphia Colors Bakelite & Chrome 1930's Bar Brooch:
Rare and collectible, this fabulous late 1930's bakelite and chrome brooch features individual curved sections of multi color bakelite, deliciously wrapped in chrome. The colors bring to mind the famous multi color Philadephia bracelet, something we bakelite lovers all dream about! The bar on the back of the brooch carries the patent number 206696, this number dates to 1937 and is for the pin bar mechanism. The brooch measures 3 by 1/2" and is in excellent vintage condition. I have not polished the chrome, I will leave that to the new owner if they should choose, but I think it looks great as is.

Vintage Enamel Swordfish or Marlin Brooch with Rhinestones:
This vintage figural swordfish or marlin brooch is simply amazing! Enameled in light green with dark green accents, the fish has a white stripe down his body accented with a bright yellow stripe. His eye is a golden rhinestone. He has clear rhinestones on his "sword" and what I am calling front fins. The rhinestones have yellowed over time, and are all original. The design of this piece is simply amazing! The plating on the pot metal back is in great condition, with one area of wear by the back fins I have shown in a picture. The brooch is quite large, measuring 2 3/4" by 3 1/4". The brooch is unsigned.

Vintage Articulated Man with Rhinestone Hat Lucite Stones:
This adorable figural brooch features articulated arms and legs with large red and gold faceted lucite stones and a rhinestone hat. The lower arms and legs are set with clear rhinestones, as is the hat. All the clear rhinestones are prong set. The gold plated metal is in excellent condition. This brooch has a lot of movement in the legs as all the joints are articulated. Only the lower rhinestones are articulated on the arms. The brooch measures 3 by 1 1/4" and is in excellent condition. It is unsigned.

Vintage Ornate Filigree Style Flower Brooch Lucite Bullet Cabochons:
This impressive vintage 1930's brooch features three dimensional flowers set with red, green and sapphire lucite bullet cabochons. The brooch is made from stamped brass resembling lacy filigree. There is some plating wear to the gilding due to age and use, which simply adds to the vintage charm. The brooch is unsigned and measures 4 by 2".

Vintage Sterling Framed Double Parrot Brooch with Rose Gold Wash:
This lovely vintage sterling silver brooch is a period copy of a Coro sterling Norseland brooch circa late 1940's. This brooch features two rose gold plated parrots on a branch framed with leaves and berries. The brooch measures 2 1/2 by 1 3/4" and is unmarked, but acid tests as sterling silver. The only flaw is a slight bend in the pin stem, which does not effect the secure closure.

Pair of 1940's Vintage Wooden Scottie Dog Brooches:
This adorable pair of wooden Scottie dog brooches date from the 1940's. The larger sports a jaunty bow around his neck. The larger Scottie measures 2 7/8 by 2 5/8" and the smaller measures 2 1/4 by 2 1/4". They are in excellent condition and will be an enchanting addition to your figural collection!
