Huge Vintage Coro Pot Metal Rhinestone Leaf Frond Brooch:
I love the 30's-40's pot metal pieces, and this brooch from Coro is a beauty! Large and in charge, the rhinestone frond design has a slight curve and is embellished with a pave' set rhinestone bow. Some of the stones have darkened slightly over time, but the brooch has great sparkle and is much brighter than my pictures show. The bright silver tone finish is in excellent condition. The brooch is a very nice size measuring 4 by 1 1/4". Signed with the Coro script mark.

Unusual Vintage Coro Layered Rhinestone Leaf Brooch:
Although the leaf motif has been done in a myriad of designs and styles, this brooch from Coro is one of the most unusual and interesting variations I have seen! Crafted in two layers of silver tone metal, the bottom layer is set with a myriad of sparkling clear navette rhinestones. The stones are foiled but in open back settings. The top layer is a freeform open work design of swirls and loops, dimensional in its own right, which further enhances the rhinestones. A double stem finishes off the leaf. This piece is very difficult to photo! Trust me when I say it's a stunner! The brooch is in excellent condition, measures 2 3/4 by 1 5/8" and is signed Coro.
