Vintage Art Deco Rhinestone Bird of Paradise Brooch: This glittering art deco bird of paradise brooch features bright rhodium plated metal pave' set with glittering clear rhinestones and a sapphire blue eye. The design is fluid and layered with the milgrain edging found on quality pieces. The brooch is as lovely as the day it was made. It measures 3 5/8 by 2 1/4" and is unsigned.
Vintage D&E (Juliana) Bird in Flight Brooch: This glittering fantasy bird in flight brooch from D&E (Juliana) features a bevy of black navette and AB chaton rhinestones, all prong set in bright silver tone metal. The colors are rich and subtle. The brooch is in excellent condition and measures 2 5/8 by 1 3/8'.
Vintage Spun 800 Silver Articulated Peacock Brooch with Dangling Faux Pearls: This huge and stunning vintage peacock brooch is crafted from spun 800 silver (unmarked but tested). The tail is articulated in layers and dangles hoards of glowing white faux pearls. The brooch is enormous, measuring 7" long by 3" wide at the widest part of the tail. The condition is excellent, with a secure open C-clasp.
Vintage Retro Modern Coro Dove Brooch: This wonderful vintage 1940's brooch from Coro features classic retro modern design. Sleek and elegant in bright gold plated metal, the brooch depicts a dove in flight and is accented with tiny multi color rhinestones. The brooch measures 2 3/4" long and is just a hair under 1 1/2" wide. The brooch is in wonderful condition with just light surface wear. The brooch is signed Coro in script.
Vintage Toshikane Arita Mandarin Red Porcelain Phoenix Earrings: These gorgeous vintage Toshikane Arita clip back earrings feature hand painted porcelain in mandarin red adorned with an elegant phoenix or firebird. The earrings measure 1 1/8" and have the signature shield on the back. They are signed Japan and Toshikane. They are in excellent condition with secure clip backs.
Vintage HAR Enamel Owl Brooch Green/White: This adorable vintage owl brooch from HAR is enameled in green with raised white enameled details. His eyes are rust red glass ballotini. The owl is perched on a branch. In excellent condition, he measures 1 1/2 by 3/4", and is signed HAR(c).
Vintage Trifari Alfred Philippe Rhinestone Bird on Branch Figural Brooch: This enchanting vintage Trifari figural bird brooch is an Alfred Philippe design. The silver tone setting is paved with various sizes of sparkling clear rhinestones in his body, baguette rhinestones in his tail, and a glowing ruby red glass eye. This little guy is in excellent condition and measures 1 3/4 by 1 3/8". It is signed Crown Trifari. The condition is excellent.
Vintage Rhodium Plated Clear Rhinestone Swallow in Flight Brooch: This lovely vintage figural brooch features a dimensional swallow in flight. the brooch is heavily rhodium plated finish set with glittering clear rhinestones. The brooch measures 1 5/8 by 1 5/8" and is unsigned. A few rhinestones have slightly age darkened, but this brooch has plenty of sparkle and the darkening is negligible. Much prettier than my pictures show.
Vintage Bird Brooch Faceted Milk Glass: This lovely vintage bird in flight brooch features a dark gun metal setting rife with faceted milk glass cabochons in round, navette and pear shape. Each stones is individually prong set. The stones are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the roll over clasp hold securely. The brooch measures 2 3/8 by 2" and is unsigned.
Vintage Eisenberg Enamel Owl Necklace "Artist Series" 1970's: This enchanting vintage Eisenberg enamel owl necklace from the 1970's "Artist Series" is a study in cream, pale pinks, brown, black and sage green translucent enamel. He is the larger of the owl designs measuring 3 1/4 by 1 1/4". He is in wonderful condition. The large open link chain measures 11" on each side. An unusual series for Eisenberg, know primarily for their amazing rhinestone pieces, the pieces in this collection show the influence of artists such as Chagall and Picasso among others. The necklace is in wonderful condition and is signed E(c). Shown on page 167 of Costume Jewelry 101 by Julia C. Carroll.
