Vintage Signed Robert Allison Sterling Scottish Celtic Cloak Brooch:
Huge vintage sterling ( fully hallmarked with the Glasgow Scottish hallmarks) signed RA ( Robert Allison) Celtic cloak brooch with figural birds and ornate Celtic designs. Heavy sterling, it weighs 45.93 grams. Although the date mark is blurred, based on my research I am confident this piece is circa 1950's. The brooch measures 2 1/4" across. The deep golden center stone ( a huge 20mm) has a star design faceted in the center. Although Robert Allison used both genuine stones and glass, I am fairly certain this is glass as the tiny chips ( visible only through a loop) on a facet edge have a conchoidal pattern and I don't see any of the natural zoning a citrine would exhibit, but it has not been tested. The brooch is in excellent condition, has a full set of hallmarks, and the makers initials RA.

Huge Vintage Reverse Carved & Painted Lucite Swordfish Brooch:
Offered for your consideration is this very large vintage reverse carved swordfish or sailfish brooch. The brooch features clear lucite embellished with carved cross hatching on the body of the fish, and blue paint accents on the fins and sword. The clasp is sunk into the lucite, and an open C-clasp. This piece measures 4 1/2 by 3 1/2" and is in near mint condition. Fabulous!

Vintage West German Multi Color Ballotini Fish Brooch:
This whimsical vintage fish brooch features an ornate stamped brass filigree style setting adorned with a multitude of brightly colored ballotini balls. He measures 3 by 1 1/4" and is in excellent condition. His eye is not missing a stone, it has a little metal eyeball! He is signed "Made in Germany West" and is in excellent condition.

Vintage 1940's Carved Wood Elongated Cat Brooch:
This enchanting figural feline brooch is carved from wood and accented with googly eyes. Unfortunately for our poor kitty, his eyes have cataracts, but then he is an older feline! He also has a few nicks and scratches, from years of fighting over his lady loves. His little dings in no way detract from his charm and self possession. He would love to have a new home with you. He says he measures 3 1/2 by 1 1/4", eats very little, and promises to be the best cat ever!

Enormous Vintage Cellulose Acetate Purple & Magenta Flower Brooch:
This vintage cellulose acetate flower brooch is absolutely enormous! Layered with ruffled petals in transparent purple and magenta pink and centered with sparkling pink rhinestones heat set in plastic, this huge and wonderful brooch makes a fashion statement no one can ignore! The brooch measures 4 " across and stands 1 1/2" tall. These wonderful pieces are becoming harder to find, and of course, is unsigned.

Vintage Trifari Rhinestone Bug on Leaf Brooch:
This whimsical vintage leaf brooch from Trifari is crafted in gold plated metal with a brushed finish. The crimped leaf is so life like! Sitting in the middle of the leaf is a charming silver tone bug set with sparkling rhinestones. The front if the brooch is in excellent condition. There is a bend in the pin stem in the back, but this doesn't effect the security of the closure. The brooch measures 2 1/2 by 2" and is signed with the Crown Trifari mark.

Vintge Renaissance Revival Lion Head & Green Czech Glass Brooch:
This vintage Renaissance Revival style brooch features four lions heads in an ornate setting. The ornate, open work design has a raised lion head on each of the cardinal points. The center is accented with three mottled Czech glass cabochons, an oval flanked by two round stones. Small faux pearls finish out an amazing design! The unsigned brooch measures 2 3/4 by 1 1/2" and is in excellent condition.

Vintage Figural Ballerina Brooch Two Tone & Rhinestones:
This graceful and elegant vintage ballerina brooch ( late 1940's) is a period copy of the famous Boucher ballerina pins. Crafted in sections of gold and silver tone, her ruffled skirt and gold tone bodice are adorned with pave' set sparkling rhinestones. She is in wonderful condition, with just the slightest of plating wear to the back, and measures 1 5/8 by 1 5/8". A must have for the lover of classical dance!
