Antique Art Nouveau Amethyst Glass & Lily of the Valley Sash Pin
This exquisite antique art nouveau sash pin is crafted in brass in an ornate foliate design of leaves and scrolls with a lily of the valley curling up the right side. The large faceted amethyst glass oval is securely bezel set at an angle, giving this piece a wonderful asymmetrical look. The brooch measures 3 by 2 1/4". The closure is an open C clasp. The brooch is in excellent condition, but the amethyst glass has a light scratch on one side and a small nick on the other but still shows beautifully. Not bad for a piece circa 1900!
