This fabulous vintage 1940's brooch features a carved wooden horse head inside a horseshoe. The carving detail is wonderful! The horse head is inside a horseshoe. the horse has a red bridle and reins, and the brooch has red painted details. The condition is excellent. The pin is inset into the wood. The brooch measures 2 1/2 by 2 3/4" and is unsigned.
