Amazing Vintage Red Purple Rivoli Rhinestone Brooch
This astounding vintage brooch was hard to photo, and with all that is going on with it, hard to describe! The brooch is an explosion of navettes in rich purple, deep ruby red and deep pink. The center is a large volcano rivoli in an unusual square shape. Small chaton rhinestones frame the clusters of larger marquise rhinestones and the crowning glory is the dimensional flower set asymmetrically on the brooch. Although you can pin this to be in the center if you choose, the brooch was designed for the flower to sit to one side. All of the stones but the center rivoli are prong set. A large piece at 3 by 3", it is in excellent condition and surprisingly unsigned.
