Magnificent 1930's Bookchain Leaf and Seed Pod Necklace
This wonderful vintage 1930's book chain necklace is composed of engraved links joined by oval links for a very fluid look and feel. Depending from the chains are two layers of leaves and brass seedpods. Each seed pod is formed around two small cobalt blue beads. The thumbleless spring ring clap functions perfectly. This spectacular piece dated from the late 1930's to early 1940's. A fabulous addition to your collection, and a striking necklace to wear! The shortest strand of the necklace measures 16" and the bottom chain with dangles drops another three inches. The necklace closes with a thumbless spring ring clasp.
