Vintage Panetta "Real Look" Rhinestone Bracelet: Founded in 1945, Panettta was know for the quality of their jewelry and their "real look" designs. This gorgeous vintage bracelet features the milgrain edging used in high end fine jewelry and hand pave'd (bead set) rhinestones in a classic deco style design. Panetta advertised their "Real Look" jewelry, and it certainly could fool the eye! The rhodium plating is as beautiful as the day it was made. The open work design and connecting baguettes add even more interest to a beautiful piece! There is still plenty of sparkle in the tiny rhinestones. The bracelet measures 7" long by 3/8" wide and is signed Panetta.
Impressive Art Deco Marcasite and Green Navette Rhinestone Dress clip: This stunning vintage dress clip features classic art deco style! It is completely pave'd with glittering marcasites and accented with sparkling emerald green navette rhinestones, each set in v-tip prongs. The pewter tone pot metal is in excellent condition, the ornate clip works perfectly. I highly suspect this clip is French in origin, but it is not signed. The clip measures 2 5/8 by 2".
Vintage Art Deco Sterling Silver Marcasite Black Onyx and Mother-of-Pearl Brooch: This gorgeous art deco brooch is crafted in sterling silver and set with an elongated emerald cut black onyx as the focal point. The black onyx is flanked on either side with shimmering mother-of-pearl inlay, with more MOP accenting the top and bottom. The stepped, angular design is set with sparkling marcasites, each stone bead set. The silver has a nice weight, the design classic deco. The brooch is marked 925 and measures 2 1/4 by 1 1/8".
Vintage 1940s Green Enamel Rhinestone Bellflower Brooch: This lovely vintage 1940's pot metal brooch features a bellflower bouquet, each dimensional flower adorned with accents of deep green enamel and sparkling clear and green rhinestones. The gold plated brooch is layered and dimensional. The open work leaves are also accented with green enamel. The front is in excellent condition, the back shows age related plating wear. This unusual brooch measures 3 1/4 by 2" and is unsigned.
Antique Victorian 14k Gold Amethyst and Garnet Tassel Locket Brooch: This amazing antique Victorian locket brooch features an ornate design of curled, detailed leaves set with elongated teardrop shaped amethysts in the center and top center, with two rhodolite garnets accenting the outside edge of the brooch. The design is elegant and layered. There is an anodized background to the brooch, adding even more dimension. The brooch has a chain that depends from each side of the clasp ending with a patterned gold bead and chain tassel. The brooch has a tube hinge and C-clasp, with an extra long pin stem. The back has a locket area for hair or a picture covered with the original glass. I have not attempted to remove it. The brooch is unsigned, but tests strongly as 14k, possibly 15k as both were used for jewelry at the time. I had my personal jeweler verify the test and stone authenticity. The brooch measures 2 3/8 by 1 1/4" and weighs 11.25 grams. The only flaw I can find is a kink in the outside right tassel chain. It lays smoothly when worn.
Stunning Sterling Silver Marcasite and Multi Gemstone Bracelet: This stunning sterling silver bracelet is crafted in half circle links, each link separated with a bezel set oval gemstone of alternating amethyst, blue topaz and citrine. The whole bracelet is pave'd with glittering marcasites including around the gemstones. The bracelet closes with a hidden box clasp with the added touch of a safety lock on each side of the clasp. The bracelet is beautifully made, marked 925 and CL. The bracelet measures 8 by 5/8" wide and weighs 28.47 grams.
Signed R Wongitillin Carved Narwhal Tusk Orca Brooch: This lovely and graceful carved narwhal tusk orca brooch was made by Inuit artist R. Wongitillin. The carving is lifelike and the use of the natural gradation in the material define his dead and tail. Although I searched, I was able to find exquisite carvings from this artist, but no jewelry. The orca is a very nice size, measuring 3 3/8 by 1 1/8". The pin stem has a bend but still closes securely. The brooch is signed R Wingitillin.
Art Deco Graduated Flower Dot Celluloid Bead and Brass Necklace: This unusual art deco celluloid necklace features graduated beads embellished with concave dots forming a flower, with a red painted accent in the center. The beads graduate from 17.5mm to 6.5mm at the clasp. The celluloid beads are accented with ornate brass bead caps, adding even more fun! The original brass screw clasp works perfectly. The necklace measures 17" and at some point in its life has been securely restrung on nylon.
Vintage 1941 Unsigned Rice-Weiner Water Carrier Brooch: This wonderful figural Chinese water carrier brooch was designed by L.C. Mark for Rice-Weiner, with a patent date of Sept. 16, 1941, patent number 129,573. There were several design versions of this brooch, and this one is quite nice! The large figural has a red enamel shirt and rhinestone studded shorts. The rhinestones were mostly missing when I received him, the few left a disaster, so I replaced all of his rhinestones with clear, the original color. Two different size Venetian "wedding cake" beads are suspended from his pole. His plating is in wonderful shape, with slight wear to his nose and a spot on his cheek. He is a very nice size at 3 by 2 3/4", and is unsigned, but verified by design and patent.
Wide Vintage Marcasite and Sterling Silver Band Ring: Amazing and huge sterling silver and marcasite band ring, crafted with a slight dome and nine rows of sparkling marcasites, each row separated with a textured silver line. Although the ring measures a size 7 1/2 on my mandrel, with wide bands it is best to buy a quarter size larger than you normally wear, as wide bands fit a bit differently. The ring measures 1" wide ( 24mm) and the shank tapers to 1/4"(7.5mm). It is marked 925 right at the edge of the band and also acid tested.
