Vintage Cini Sterling Gemini Heart Cornucopia Brooch Zodiac: From 1922 until 1970, Cini presented imaginative and beautifully made silver designs. This brooch from their Zodiac series features Gemini the twins. Each side of the brooch has a cornucopia spilling fruits of plenty into a heart. Twin cherubs with horns sit below the Gemini banner, the whole brooch is a heart shape. The brooch measures 1 5/8 by 1 3/8" and is signed "Sterling by Cini" (c).
Vintage Black Mesh Snake Belt with Rhinestones Signed: Adorable vintage black mesh snake belt measuring a total of 41" in length but adjustable to 40". The feminine serpent has a cute bow around her neck with a heart hang tag that says BG with an unreadable signature on the other side. Her head and eyes are sparkling black rhinestones. She is in wonderful condition, with slight wear to the bow and a few slightly flattened spots to the mesh where the belt was previously clipped.
Vintage Sterling Puppy Love Paw Print Necklace: This adorable vintage sterling silver necklace is the perfect way to show your puppy love! The square pendant measures 1/2" and is stamped with a paw print. The pendant is unmarked and acid tests as sterling silver. The box chain is sterling silver and marked. It is a shorter chain measuring 15 3/4".
Vintage Plique-a-Jour Enamel 800 Silver Filigree Flower Brooch: This exquisite vintage opening flower brooch is crafted in 800 silver and accented with plique-a-jour enamel in shades of aqua blue and green. The flower is enameled in a lovely aqua blue, each petal is delicate and life like. The leaves show more of the spun silver work, each leaf curling inward and enameled in stripes of green and aqua. The enamel is in lovely shape. The brooch is marked on the stem, but illegible. It tests as low grade silver, and of course these pieces were made in 800 silver. This lovely piece measures 2 1/4 by 7/8".
Vintage Grey Green Thermoset Lucite Asian Man Panel Necklace: This fun and funky vintage necklace features four individual triangular shapes of shimmering grey green thermoset plastic. Each plaque has scalloped edged and is adorned with a gold tone metal Asian man face. Each Oriental gentleman wears a hat and has a drooping mustache. The plaques are linked together with gold tone rings. The substantial link chain closes securely with a spring ring clasp. The necklace measures 17" and is in wonderful condition.
Vintage Marbled Green and Butterscotch Carved Bakelite Asian Man Brooch: This fabulous and hard to find Asian/Oriental man bakelite brooch from Catalin Corp features a rich deep green color marbled with luscious butterscotch. The brooch is quite detailed and beautifully carved. The Oriental gentleman wear a hat, has a drooping mustache and a long braid with his hands folded in his sleeves. An inscrutable piece! The bakelite even has hints of the original blue in the sunlight. This piece is in wonderful condition. The brooch measures 2 3/8 by 1 1/4".
Gorgeous Nolan Miller Purple Shimmer Enamel and Rhinestone Brooch: This lovely Nolan Miller brooch takes the classic flower to a new level. The dimensional flower has gold plated edges curling around petals embellished with shimmering blue and purple resin enamel. The center is filled with sparkling rhinestones. The leaves have gold veins and pave rhinestones, one stone has darkened. Even the tip of the stem is accented with tiny rhinestones. The high carat gold plating is perfect. The brooch measures 2 1/2 by 1 1/2" and is signed Nolan Miller (c).
Vintage Sterling Silver Amber Nugget Spider Brooch: This oh so adorable vintage spider brooch is hand crafted from sterling silver. His body is crafted from two nuggets of genuine amber. The clasp is cleverly done, an open c-claps that holds securely. His condition is excellent. This little guy is cute as a bug ( sorry, couldn't resist!) and so realistic. He is unmarked, but of course acid tested. The brooch measures 1 1/4".
Adorable Alice Caviness Sterling Germany Marcasite Whale Brooch: This enchanting vintage 1950's whale brooch from Alice Caviness will win your heart! The whale is crafted in Germany of sterling silver vermeil in great detail. His eye is a green glass cabochon and his fins are set with sparkling marcasites. I particularly like his toothy grin! There is light wear to a few areas of the vermeil. These pieces were made in more limited quatities than her rhinestone pieces, so always a treat to find, the whale especially. The brooch measures 1 3/4 by 1/2". It is signed Alice Caviness, Sterling, Germany.
Vintage Huge 1930's Ornate Jeweled Sword Figural Brooch: This amazing and huge vintage 1930's sword brooch is crafted in gold plated pot metal. The sword is ornate and detailed. The bejeweled hilt has a scrolled open work design in layers, the edges are milgrained. The rhinestones are still very bright with yet more rhinestones running down the raised center of the blade. The brooch is quite large measuring 5" long by just a hair under 2" wide. A fun impressive piece, unsigned as are so many of this era's figural pieces.
