Vintage Russian Finift Enamel 800 Silver Lady in Repose: The art of Finift enamel began in Rostov in the 1760's. I will post a link at the end of my description if you are interested in the history of Finift enamels. This particular brooch features a delicately enameled pastoral scene of a lady in repose in traditional costume. The pastel greens and pinks are peaceful and serene, our lovely maiden in quiet reflection. The simple but elegant 800 silver setting sets the brooch off to perfection. The brooch measures 1 7/8" across and is in excellent condition. The link to the information about this craft is:https://russian-crafts.com/crafts-history/enamel-history.html please pardon the reflections, the enamel is mint.

The brooch measures 1 1/8 by 1 1/4".

The detail and dimension are so well done, and he is in excellent condition. I love his long beard and curling mustache! The brooch measures 2 3/4 by 1 3/4" and is unsigned. Vintage H. Pomerantz 1940's Glass Wing Bee Brooch: I am so pleased to present for your consideration this extremely hard to find H Pomerantz bee or wasp pin. This and the matching rabbit, which I also have, are two of the iconic pieces from this hard to find maker. The wings of the bee are large, unusual clear faceted glass, one layered above the other. The cast pot metal body is gold plated. The tail of the bee is curled down in a "ready to sting" position. His body is paved with sparkling rhinestones. There is some wear to the gold plating and the top wing has a small chip on the underside of the glass, not easily visible, but mentioned for accuracy. He measures 2 by 1 5/8". The brooch is unsigned but acknowledged to be H Pomerantz, and is a book piece.
Vintage Unsigned Selro Iconic Asian Princess Necklace: This iconic Asian Princess design from Selro is both exotic and ornate! The central Asian princess is in wonderful condition. She is flanked by two large red marquise shaped lucite cabochons. The accenting faux pearls are all replacements, when she came to me she was missing them, and the few left were in bad shape. She has been restored to her former glory! The gold plating is in excellent condition on the front. The plating is worn on the female side of the clasp, the only wear I can find. Although unsigned, this is a well known Selro necklace. It measures 16" long.
Mazer Sterling Art Glass Belly and Rhinestone Leaping Frog Brooch: This enchanting and incredibly lifelike 1040's frog brooch attributed to Joseph Mazer is crafted in sterling silver and set with a large art glass cabochon center. This version of the frog has rhinestones set in his legs and head. Most of the rhinestones were missing or dead so I have replaced them and returned him to his glory days! He has high dome ruby glass eyes which appear to glow. The frog is shown in Brunialti's "A Tribute to America" on page 136. His condition is excellent. A true American costume jewelry treasure!
