This lovely piece is in excellent condition with only the tiniest of flea bites in the enamel. The Coro signature is tiny and I wasn't able to get a good picture of it. Taxco Silver Rose Quartz and Malachite Aztec Brooch/Pendant: This is a beautifully made and unusual brooch from Taxco, Mexico. The Aztec warrior is carved out of rose quartz. His headdress is inlaid with malachite set in black resin. He has silver articulated earrings and a collar with more dangles that match his headdress. He is marked on the back, either 950 0r 850, the first number is too blurred for me to make out. He also has the mark TA-156 and a script number 28. This brooch is very well made and doubles as both a brooch or a pendant. A fabulous piece to wear and a great addition to your silver collection.
