Vintage Coro Sterling Key and Heart Brooch: This wonderful vintage A. Katz design for Coro has the patent number 142569 and was patented in 1945. The key and heart motif is so very romantic! Guilding the lily is a vine flowing across the front of the key, embellished with small cabochon red and turquoise colored stones. This great brooch is in excellent condition with only minimal wear to the gold wash on the back of the brooch. Measures 2 1/8 by 1" and is signed Coro Sterling, design pat.
Vintage Signed ART Pink Enameled Flower Brooch and Earrings: The ultimate example of "Flower Power", this fun vintage brooch and earrings set from ART is so 1960's! The openwork gold tone metal flower is embellished with small bright pink enameled flower and each petal is tipped with the same pink enamel. A small green enamel leaf curves from the stem. The bright orange center of the flower raises up from the surface and is surrounded by more pink petals. The matching earrings are in perfect condition. There are several small spots of enamel loss on the center of the flower but other than that this set is in excellent condition. Brooch measures 2 7/8 by 2", Earrings measure 1", signed ART(c).
Vintage Austria Japanned Rhinestone Cherry Brooch: Black Japanned metal and brilliant rich red prong set rhinestones form a dome shaped cherry accented by deep green enameled leaves. A gorgeous vintage brooch in excellent condition. Signed Made in Austria. 1 1/2 by 3/4".
Incredible Satin Glass and Rhinestone Trifari Flower Basket: The molded satin glass flowers of this spectacular floral brooch by Trifari are in mouth watering shades of sapphire blue, lavender, rose pink and pastel pink. A brilliant chaton rhinestones accents the center of each posey. Additional rhinestone flowers and leaves fill out the bouquet to perfection. The gold tone metal is in excellent condition and the unique basket shape adds to the over all perfection of this enticing brooch. Capping the bottom of the basket is a glowing red lucite cabochon. There is a small visible blemish in the glass on the large saphire blue flower..not a chip as I can not feel it with my finger. It does not detract in any way from this spectacular brooch. Trifari Enamel and Rhinestone Flower Basket Brooch: One of my favorite flower baskets, this pastel confection by Trifari certainly deserves a place in your collection! These enameled, dimensional flowers cradle a single sparkling chaton rhinestone inside each opening blossom. Long enameled green leaves adorned with small sparkling rhinestones complete the picture. The delicate, airy openwork gold tone basket with curved handle is so lovely! In very good vintage condition with minor enamel loss on the edges of the petals. The gold tone metal is in excellent condition with the pin back tight and secure. A wonderful Crown Trifari brooch! Shown on page 185 of Marcia "sparkles" Brown's book signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry.
vintage Signed Reja Retro Modern Lily Brooch with Pearls: This stunning vintage brooch from Reja was cast in heavy pot metal with a gold wash. Each lily folds over a large baroque faux pearl. These pearls are all in excellent condition. Each area of chaton rhinestone accents is framed with a fine milgrain edge. Although there is some age darkening to some of the rhinestones there is still plenty of sparkle left! The gold wash does show quite a bit of age wear, more on the front than the back. Not enough to be distracting, but there no less. The pin back is tight and secure. Signed Reja. it measures 3 by 2 3/4".
Trifari Molded Glass Pink Dangle Flower Brooch: Patented on Oct 3, 1950, this fabulous molded glass brooch from Trifari is a design classic. Each soft pink glass flower is wrapped in a gold bezel. The top flower is attached to a gold tone flower cap and swirled branch. The other three flowers dangle independently and can be removed from the brooch so it can be worn as a single flower. In very good vintage condition! There are two tiny blemishes to the gold finish on the center point of the gold tone flower cap, barely noticeable, but mentioned for accuracy. This brooch is a must have for every collector!
Rare Vintage Signed Mr. John Crown Brooch: Mr. John, milliner extraordinare, was the hat maker to the stars in the 1940's and 50's. Most famous for his work as milliner to Viven Leigh in Gone with the Wind, he also designed hats for the likes of the Duchess of Windsor, socialite Goria Vanderbuilt, and actress Lauren Bacall. Mr John had his own line of jewelry, which was marked with a hang tag or came in a presentation box, so signed pieces are few and far between. Crafted in gold wash over silver tone metal, this regal brooch is studded with silver tone balls, adding depth and interest. The center stone is a square cut emerald green foil back rhinestone set on the diagonal and the outside chatons are hot orange foil back rhinestones. The Mr. John signature is boldly written in script across the bottom piece of the crown. Measures 1 3/4 by 1 1/2", signed Mr. John.
Vintage Vendome Exotic Gypsy Dancer Brooch: What an exotic charmer this dancer is! Crafted in gold tone metal with dimensional detailing and open work patterns in her skirt, our lovely lady is adorned with cabochon faux turquoise stones around the hem of her skirt and on her headpiece, and emerald green chaton rhinestones sprinked over her outfit. Substantial and extremely well made, she is in excellent condition. Measures 2 by 1 1/2".
Vintage Coro Fantasy Rhinestone Mushroom Brooch: Right out of Wonderland, this vintage mushroom brooch from Coro is sure to make you smile. The cap of the mushroom is brushed gold tone metal sprinkled with bright sparkling chaton rhinestones in shades of amber, yellow, blue, green and pink. It is finished off with a lifelike ruff. The stem is of high polish gold tone metal and riveted to the cap. The brooch measures 2 1/2 by 2 1/4" and is signed Coro. Excellent condition.
