Vintage ALBA Jaime Quiroz Blue Enamel Sterling Snake Earrings: These fabulous vintage enamel snake earrings were crafted from the original molds of famous Mexico taller Margo Van Voohries ( Margo de Taxco) by her long time employee and sales manager Jaimie Quiroz, who worked under the name of ALBA. The sterling silver snakes are beautifully enameled in glowing blue with red eyes and red enamel dots around the neck. The earrings are for pierced ears, the sterling wires are comfortable to wear and securely soldered in the mouth of the snake. The snake designs are highly desirable and hard to find, I am thrilled to be able them to offer them! The snakes measures 1 1/2 by 7/8", the wires are not included on the length measurement. They are signed ALBA Mexico, 925, TQ-06.
Vintage Mexico Sterling Double Star Brooch with Gemstones: This gorgeous double star brooch is crafted in sterling silver. The large free form star is accented with a smaller star tucked in the upper left side of the brooch. Three bezel set "gemstones" accent the brooch. I can't say for sure whether natural or glass, but the colors are lovely. The brooch measures 2 by 2 1/4" and is signed 925 Mexico and TA-127.
Native American Sterling Turquoise Leaf Large Ring Signed MKJ: This gorgeous sterling and turquoise Native American ring features classic Navajo design. The foal point is two, elongated glowing sky blue turquoise with light matrix, set securely in saw tooth bezels. Each stone is bracketed by a silver leaf on one side and lightly incised design on the other, with a scattering of raindrops. The ring measures 1 7/8" long by 3/4" wide and is a size 8 1/2. The ring is signed MKJ and acid tests as sterling silver.
Vintage Navajo Sterling and Turquoise Stick Pin: This lovely vintage Navajo stick pin is crafted in sterling silver (unmarked and tested). The focal point is a saw tooth bezel set turquoise in a gorgeous Robins egg blue, surrounded with two traditional feathers and a scallop and raindrop border. The top measures 1/2 by 5/8". The turquoise has light matrix line, that is not a crack.
Southwestern Sterling Silver and Turquoise Large Roadrunner Brooch: This enchanting sterling silver roadrunner brooch is crafted in the Southwestern style with silver stampings and a turquoise eye. He is very well detailed and made, but is unmarked. The brooch acid tests as sterling silver. The roadrunner measures 3 by 1", a nice size!
Native American Alvin Toadacheene Sterling Silver and Gold Filled Bracelet: This lovely bracelet was crafted by Navajo Alvin Toadacheene in sterling silver and is 12K gold filled on the outside frame on both sides. The center is delicate silver "beads". The bracelet is 1/4" wide and fits a medium wrist with interior measurements of 2 1/2 by 1" and an opening of 1 1/8". The end caps are made of sterling silver, please note there is a piece of the cap missing on the outside of the bracelet, it has no rough edges to catch on anything. The bracelet is signed Alvin Toadacheene , 925 and 12K golf filled.
Vintage Taxco Mexico Sterling Modernist Turquoise Inlay Link Necklace: This wonderful vintage sterling silver necklace from Mexico is crafted in fourteen links with a heavy box clasp. Each link is inlaid with turquoise set in black resin. The necklace is quite heavy weighing in at 2.8 troy oz of sterling silver. It measures 16" long by 3/8" wide and is signed Hecho en Mexico, TC-78(?) and 925.
Mexico Sterling Pill Box with Amethyst and Alligator Clip: This vintage sterling silver pill or snuff box from Mexico is a cut above with the unusual addition of a sterling silver chain ending in an alligator clip. A nice touch to prevent the loss of the box from slipping out of a pocket. The box measures 1 3/4 by 1 1/4" and is 1/2" tall. The chain is 3 1/2" long including the clip. It is marked Mexico Silver. The box is in great condition, the hinged lid fits securely and the alligator clip is tight. There is light normal surface wear that could be easily polished, but I have left as is.
Native American Sterling Gecko Brooch Signed Arnold Maloney: This enchanting and whimsical gecko brooch is crafted in sterling silver by Navajo artist Arnold Maloney. He measures 2 by 3/4". His back is embellished with stamping. He is in excellent condition and signed "M" for Arnold Maloney. Not a lightweight piece, he has quite a bit of heft for his size at 8.1 grams.
Vintage 1930's Mexico Sterling Duck Bracelet Green Onyx Belly: This enchanting vintage 1930's silver bracelet from Mexico features a charming motif of seven individual ducks, all linked together and finished with a curved "S" clasp. Each duck features a bullet shaped cabochon of green onyx to which is affixed a silver wing. The bracelet is in wonderful condition and measures 7 1/4" long by 1" wide. The bracelet is marked "Mexico Silver" on the back of the clasp and acid tests as sterling silver.
