The 20" double loop chain with fold over clasp suspends a large ( 1 1/2 by 1 1/2") Chinese character from which dangle a pair of 10mm coral colored glass beads framed in filigree bead caps.  The crowning glory of this wonderful necklace is the large and incredibly ornate dragon whose measurements are 2" wide by 1 1/2" high.  Further gilding the lily are long triangular dangles of high polish gold tone metal, and more coral beads in round and tubular shapes.  There is very minor pitting on the dangles, but nothing that in any way detracts from this spectacular necklace.  Shown on page 143 of Classic American Costume Jewelry by Jaqueline Rehmann.  Total length is 26" long.  Signed ART(c).

Made in Austria Satin Glass Berry Brooch: This wonderful satin glass berry brooch is signed Austria. These pieces were the rage in the 1950's  and deservedly so!  The glowing lemon yellow molded glass berries have a satin finish and show a lavender blush as you move the brooch.  The molded glass leaves are of a pale springtime green color.  All the glass is foil backed.  There is some minor foil loss on the edges of the berries and a small chip on the glass of the top berry under the prong.  Not noticeable, but mentioned for accuracy. Accenting this luscious brooch is a prong set chaton rhinestone is an unusual amber shade.  A mouthwatering piece! Shown in Costume Jewelry 101 by Julia C. Carroll on page 107 in the white version.

Coro Blue Rhinestone Necklace and Earring Demi Parure: Am I blue? You bet! And so sparkly too! This signed Coro demi is a rhinestone lover's delight. Graduated rows of brilliant blue chaton rhinestones alternate with graduated rows of light aquamarine blue chaton rhinestones. A row of clear baguette rhinestones wraps the front of the necklace. A large blue chaton rhinestones dangles from a curl of gold tone metal that holds the baguettes.  The chain is a heavy flexible link that is in excellent shape.  The clip back earrings show the same delicate twist as the necklace, but the baguettes are  light aquamarine blue baguettes instead of clear. Stunning! The necklace shows some plating wear on the jointed surfaces, but it is minimal, and in no way detracts from this fabulous piece.  Although I was not able to find a patent number, it is very similar in style to Coro necklaces patented from 1953 to 1955. The necklace center measures 3 1/4" across. The  chain measures 5 1/4" on the hook side, and a total of 7 1/4" on the adjustable side.   The earrings measure 1 1/2 by 3/4" including dangle.
