Vintage 1941 Dorians Krewe Mardi Gras Call Out Favor Rhinestone Birds Fur Clip: This stunning vintage fur clip is from the 1941 Dorians Krewe Mardi Gras ball. These clips were call out favors, given to the ladies at the ball. They were made by the top costume jewelry companies, including Trifari, Pennino, Weiss, Ora and others. This stunning favor was gifted when dress clips were in vogue. The double birds on a branch motif is plated in bright rhodium and set with clear rhinestones. Over time, some of the stones have darkened but I have left this rare treat in its original condition. The fur clip mechanism works perfectly and is signed Dorians 1941. It measures 2 by 1 3/4".
Vintage Les Bernard Sterling Textured Baby Bird Brooch: This enchanting sterling vermeil figural brooch from designer Les Bernard features a baby bird with his mouth wide open. His body is layered in gold and he has a sparkling pink eye. Les Bernard did use genuine gemstones, but I haven't tested this. The brooch is so realistic! There is some light wear to the vermeil which only adds depth to his feathers. I love these Les Bernard figurals, and know you will too! the baby bird measures 1 1/2 by 3/4" and is signed Les Bernard sterling.
Vintage Rhinestone Horned Owl Brooch Two Tone Layered Design: Fabulous in every way, this vintage owl brooch is a period copy of the well known Trifari "Firebird series" owl brooch. The brooch is crafted in sections and riveted together. The back layer is gold plated metal. The eye section is silver tone metal, dimpled to resemble rhinestones, with glowing green lucite eyes. The top layer of feathers is a separate section set with sparkling orange/red rhinestones. The bottom feathers are set with green rhinestones. The riveted construction designs were expensive to make, as each section is a separate cast. The owl is in excellent condition, measures 2 1/4 by 1 5/8" and is unsigned.

Vintage Molded Creamy White Lucite Owl Ring: This adorable vintage ring is crafted in molded lucite in a creamy white shade and features a detailed, big eyed owl. The owl's eyes are deep blue sparkling rhinestones. This design has a very wide shank that tapers to 6 mm. The top of the ring measures 1 1/8 by 7/8". Although it measures a size 5 1/2 on the mandrel, the wide band means it would fit a size 5-5 1/4 better, as the wider the band, the more room it takes up on your finger. The ring is in excellent condition.
Vintage Sterling Framed Double Parrot Brooch with Copper Wash: This lovely vintage sterling silver brooch is a period copy of a Coro sterling Norseland brooch circa late 1940's. This brooch features two copper washed parrots on a branch framed with leaves and berries. The brooch measures 2 1/2 by 1 3/4" and is unmarked, but acid tests as sterling silver. The only flaw is a slight bend in the pin stem, which does not effect the secure closure.
Magnificent Huge Art Deco Sterling Silver Silver Pink Glass Peacock Brooch: This art deco peacock brooch is amazing! Crafted in unmarked sterling silver, the peacock features a body composed of pave'd clear rhinestones. His magnificent tail sweeps out behind him, and is embellished with large deep pink faceted glass stones capped with tiny rhinestones. As you can see, his longest feather has a slight bend downwards. The feathers are layered for a lovely dimensional look. The body of the bird has a few very dark rhinestones, I have not replaced these but left the brooch as i found it. I think some of the rhinestones are also new replacements. This is mentioned for accuracy, for this brooch is simply gorgeous! This design came in two versions, this is the larger.
