Art Deco Sterling Peacock Brooch Sapphire Rhinestones: The mold for this stunning art deco era peacock brooch can be found in the jewelry museum in Providence RI. This lovely and elegant peacock has a fanned tail set with large oval sapphire blue open back glass stones accented with sparkling chaton rhinestones. His feet are clinging to a branch as he glances backwards. A small chaton rhinestone enhances his eye. He measures 3 by 1 3/4" and is signed sterling. I also have the larger version of this peacock in pink. Excellent condition.
Vintage Rosewood Swan Deeply Carved Bakelite Foliage Brooch: This fabulous 1940's brooch features a detailed swan carved from rosewood nestled in deeply carved rootbeer bakelite foliage. The brooch is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. The elegant swan has a curved neck and applied googly eye. The pin back is inset. The brooch measures 2 7/8 by 1 7/8".
Vintage Pave’ Rhinestone Black Enamel Penguin Brooch: This enchanting figural penguin brooch features black enamel wings and jacket with sparkling rhinestones pave’d across the body and head. Note the back of the head is even accented with rhinestones and green eyes. Extremely well made! Unsigned and measures 1 5/8 by 1”.
Vintage Lang Sterling Chirping Bird Brooch: This enchanting vintage brooch from Lang features an adorable chirping bird on a curled branch. This is a nicely detailed piece with applied wing . The brooch measures 1 1/2 by 1 1/2” and is signed Lang Sterling.
Vintage Trifari Enamel Rhinestone Bird Swallow Brooch: Lovely and elegant vintage brooch from Trifari of a bird in flight, I think a swallow. The wings and tail are enameled in soft shades of blue and green with rhinestone accents on the body and crest of the wings. The gold tone Trifanium metal used exclusively by Trifari is in great condition. A few small blemishes to the enamel and a small ding on one wing as shown in photos. Measures 2 by 2 1/4" and is signed.
Vintage HAR Enamel Parrot Figural Brooch: This adorable vintage brooch from HAR (Hargo) features a brightly enameled whimsical parrot with large cartoon like eyes. He is one of the harder to find HAR figurals, and I was delighted to find him. There are a few small spots of enamel loss, mentioned for accuracy but nothing glaring. A great conversation piece, pin him on your lapel and let the fun begin! The brooch measures 1 7/8 by 1" and is signed HAR(c).

Fabulous Thelma Deutsch Rhinestone Peacock Brooch: Thelma Deutsch produced her fabulous costume jewelry pieces from 1980-1995. Usually large and over the top in design, she often used vintage molds to recreate pieces from days gone by with unusual and contemporary rhinestones and colors. This large and impressive peacock brooch was created from a vintage 1930's mold. It is crafted in bright silver tone metal and set with a plethora of blue rhinestones on the body and purple on the tail feathers. The tail feathers are also enhanced with the use of purple rivoli rhinestones. This large and lovely beauty measures 5 by 1 3/4". It is signed Thelma Deutsch.
Vintage Early 1940's Hattie Carnegie Red Glass Bird Brooch: I am so pleased to present for your consideration this wonderful and unusual early signed Hattie Carnegie bird brooch. Dating from the 1940's, this figural bird has a glowing red glass belly, with one wing folded across the back and one wing extended out from the body. The head and tail angle up, the wings are detailed with with individual feathers. Although my camera makes the brooch appear to have plating wear, the very light wear to a few edges is not easily visible to the eye. The brooch presents beautifully! The bird is signed with an HC in a diamond, the early signature for Hattie Carnegie and measures 2 3/8 by 2 1/2". A rare and wonderful find!
Vintage Thomas Jefferson Monticello Foundation Federal Eagle Brooch with Pearl: From the Thomas Jefferson Monticello Foundation jewelry collection, this stunning vintage federal eagle brooch is crafted in textured gold plated metal. The brooch is detailed and dimensional, with individual feathers and a blue rhinestone eye. In his claws he clutches a large faux pearl. He has a tiny ding of plating loss on his left wing, other than that small blemish he is in wonderful condition. The eagle measures 1 1/2 by 1 5/8" and is signed TJMF(c).
