Mexico Sterling Turquoise Aztec Sunburst Brooch/Pendant
This lovely sterling and turquoise brooch/pendant is a close copy of a famous William Spatling design. The center of this lovely piece features a high silver dome with small blue/green turquoise cabochons accenting the edges. The piece is marked Taxco, Mexico on the triangular signature and is signed on the bottom edge of the triangle, but most of the signature letters are unreadable. It is also marked 925 in the center and has the early eagle mark. I have spent hours trying to find this particular signature mark, but have not been successful. If you know this signature, I would love the information. This stunning piece is in wonderful condition, quite substantial, and would be a fabulous addition to any jewelry collection.
