Signed Coro Pegasus "Forecaster" Weather House Pin
Designed by Adolph Katz in 1947 ( patent number 147047), this enchanting and hard to find brooch was made in two versions, gilded and silver tone. This is the silver tone version. The weather house is three dimensional and features a picket fence and a thermometer. The man and lady figures move back and forth and are adorned with pink and blue rhinestones. This lovely piece is in excellent condition for its age, exhibiting only slight and appropriate age wear. Shown on page 177 of Warman's Costume Jewelry Figurals by Kathy Flood.
