Vintage Weiss Dimensional Enameled Rose Brooch
Is there any flower as lovely as a rose? Jewelry makers must think not, and this piece is the Weiss interpretation of the theme! The gold tone flower is quite dimensional with gold tone petals wrapped around a cluster of pale jonquil rose montee rhinestones. The petals are frosted with a semi-transparent pale yellow enamel. The leaves are enameled in pale green with a touch of the pale yellow enamel. This piece exhibits construction characteristic of the late 50's, and use of the copywrite mark backs that date up. There are a few very tiny wear spots on the back and very slight wear to a few of the enameled edges.
