Vintage Trifari "Park Avenue Zoo" Circus Elephant Brooch
This enchanting, hard to find vintage elephant brooch from Trifari is an Alfred Phillipe design from 1952. The collection featured a number of figural animals, several of which were featured in an ad. This charming fellow features accents of faux pearls, with a red cabochon eye and a blue rhinestone ear standing on a pearl ball. He is holding a faux pearl ball with his trunk. The brooch is in excellent condition, with only a few tiny wear spots on the pearls that you need to look closely to find. He measures 1 1/8" long by 1" wide.
