HUGE Signed Weiss Purple Rhinestone Dome Brooch
This amazing signed Weiss brooch features a large dome of gold tone metal set with an outer row of royal purple rhinestones, a raised row of fuschia rhinestones, and yet another raised row of soft lavender rhinestones framing an enormous faceted purple glass center stone. The center stone has a star pattern in the faceting and a few light scratches. All of the stones are individually prong set and the border is very ornate. The brooch is 2" across and is signed Weiss. This piece is shown in green on page 154 in Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry by Marcia "Sparkles" Brown.
