Vintage A. Katz Coro Bird on Branch with Birdhouse Brooch
This A. Katz Coro design dates from 1950 and carries the patent number 159.627. This darling vintage brooch features a very detailed bird perched on a branch next to his ornate and fabulous birdhouse. The dimensional birdhouse is adorned with a bright ruby red emerald cut rhinestone that is prong set and edged with pave set clear chaton rhinestones. A cluster of small clear chaton rhinestones decorate the bottom too! Dangling from the birdhouse is an articulated pear shaped ruby red rhinestone, also prong set. The topper on the birdhouse is a bright ruby red chaton rhinestone. Dimensional and extremely detailed as are all A Katz pieces, this imaginative brooch will quickly become your favorite pin!
