Vintage Bakelite Bangle Bracelet Pair, Chocolate Marbled & Strawberry and Cream Marbled
This stunning pair of marbled vintage bakelite bangles had been clear coated, nearly preserving the original colors and what colors they are! One bangle is a rich chocolate and vanilla, heavily marbled and glowing with depth! The other bangle is a scrumptious strawberry and cream, heavily marbled and a perfect pairing with the chocolate marble. We do know some bangles were clear coated, but the formula remains a mystery. The profiles of these bangles are identical, measuring 7/8" wide with a 2 1/2" diameter. The condition is excellent. As they have been clear coated, they will not chemical test but they do hot water test ( the only truly accurate test for bakelite) and have that wonderful "clack" we love so much in our bakelite bangles.
