Vintage Hattie Carnegie Rhinestone Trembler Bug Brooch
This enchanting vintage bug brooch from Hattie Carnegie is crafted in heavily textured gold plated metal. The wings are on springs, hence the term "trembler", as they move most delicately from the motion of the wearer. Both the head and the tips of the wings are encrusted with small sparkling chaton rhinestones. The brooch is in fabulous condition, measures 1 1/2 by 5/8" and is signed Hattie Carnegie. This piece can be found in the book "Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry" by Marcia "Sparkles" Brown on page 63.
