Rare Nettie Rosenstein Knight Chess Piece Heraldic Brooch
This extremely hard to find brooch from Nettie Rosenstein features a chess piece, the knight, embellished with heraldic flags and a stylized fleur-de-lis. The horse head has a flowing mane down his neck. Amazingly, the design is the same on the back as on the front, a detail you rarely see in other makers. But then she was known for her great attention to detail. The back is signed Nettie Rosenstein. The brooch is gold plated and in immaculate condition. It measures 1 1/2 by 1".
