Vintage Trifari Enamel Rhinestone Bird Swallow Brooch: Lovely and elegant vintage brooch from Trifari of a bird in flight, I think a swallow. The wings and tail are enameled in soft shades of blue and green with rhinestone accents on the body and crest of the wings. The gold tone Trifanium metal used exclusively by Trifari is in great condition. A few small blemishes to the enamel and a small ding on one wing as shown in photos. Measures 2 by 2 1/4" and is signed.
Vintage HAR Enamel Parrot Figural Brooch: This adorable vintage brooch from HAR (Hargo) features a brightly enameled whimsical parrot with large cartoon like eyes. He is one of the harder to find HAR figurals, and I was delighted to find him. There are a few small spots of enamel loss, mentioned for accuracy but nothing glaring. A great conversation piece, pin him on your lapel and let the fun begin! The brooch measures 1 7/8 by 1" and is signed HAR(c).

Fabulous Thelma Deutsch Rhinestone Peacock Brooch: Thelma Deutsch produced her fabulous costume jewelry pieces from 1980-1995. Usually large and over the top in design, she often used vintage molds to recreate pieces from days gone by with unusual and contemporary rhinestones and colors. This large and impressive peacock brooch was created from a vintage 1930's mold. It is crafted in bright silver tone metal and set with a plethora of blue rhinestones on the body and purple on the tail feathers. The tail feathers are also enhanced with the use of purple rivoli rhinestones. This large and lovely beauty measures 5 by 1 3/4". It is signed Thelma Deutsch.
Vintage Early 1940's Hattie Carnegie Red Glass Bird Brooch: I am so pleased to present for your consideration this wonderful and unusual early signed Hattie Carnegie bird brooch. Dating from the 1940's, this figural bird has a glowing red glass belly, with one wing folded across the back and one wing extended out from the body. The head and tail angle up, the wings are detailed with with individual feathers. Although my camera makes the brooch appear to have plating wear, the very light wear to a few edges is not easily visible to the eye. The brooch presents beautifully! The bird is signed with an HC in a diamond, the early signature for Hattie Carnegie and measures 2 3/8 by 2 1/2". A rare and wonderful find!

Vintage Lucite Disk Pendant Necklace with Horned Owl: A fun and fabulous figural piece, this vintage 1970s necklace features a huge pendant of clear lucite, framed in a heavily textured gold plated frame. The center of the medallion hosts a charming horned owl sitting on a branch, complete with ruby rhinestone eyes. The owl is detailed and dimensional with a hint of attitude! The pendant measures 3 3/8 by 3" and is suspended from a heavy woven link chain. Although Monet jewelry used this same owl as a brooch, this piece is unsigned and I can't find another online.
Vintage Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Style Bird in Trumpet Vines: This stunning sterling brooch features a stamped design of a charming bird clinging to trumpet vines. The design is lovely, with curled leaves, berries and morning glories in a frame around the bird on branch. Although crafted in the art nouveau style, the clasp dates this as a later piece. The brooch measures 3 1/2 by 2" and is unsigned, but acid tests as sterling silver. I have left the original oxidation on the brooch, I will leave any polishing to the new owner. The rollover clasp is tight and secure, the brooch in excellent condition.
Vintage Signed Jeanne Rhinestone Peacock Brooch: This stunning peacock brooch is fabulous in design and execution! The antique gold tone peacock is detailed down to the feathers! The sparkling silver gray rhinestones border the brooch and accent the tail feathers to perfection. The comb is set with ruby red rhinestones as is his eye. Vintage 1941 Dorians Krewe Mardi Gras Call Out Favor Rhinestone Birds Fur Clip: This stunning vintage fur clip is from the 1941 Dorians Krewe Mardi Gras ball. These clips were call out favors, given to the ladies at the ball. They were made by the top costume jewelry companies, including Trifari, Pennino, Weiss, Ora and others. This stunning favor was gifted when dress clips were in vogue. The double birds on a branch motif is plated in bright rhodium and set with clear rhinestones. Over time, some of the stones have darkened but I have left this rare treat in its original condition. The fur clip mechanism works perfectly and is signed Dorians 1941. It measures 2 by 1 3/4".
